The 2014 Alpine A450 is a Le Mans prototype car developed by Société des Automobiles Alpine SAS. It is powered by a Nissan sourced V8 and it is a revised version of the Oreca 03. It was the first race car in 35 years to be called the A450 to play a tribute to the A441, A442 and A443.
Its name stood out as a natural for this prototype that participated the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
